What the map helps you do
The tool is simple on purpose. It is designed to get the pressure out of your head and into a form you can actually lead.
- Name the issue.
- Separate facts, assumptions, opinions, history, pressure, and desired outcomes.
- Choose whether the next movement is decide, discuss, delegate, delay, drop, or design a simple system.
When to use it
Use the map when a decision keeps coming back, when a team conversation feels muddy, when a communication issue keeps repeating, or when you feel pressure but cannot yet name the real decision.
What happens after the map
If the map clarifies one decision, use it and move. If it reveals a pattern you keep carrying alone, that may be a sign that coaching would help you build a steadier rhythm for decision support.
Clarity does not remove leadership responsibility. It helps you carry it more faithfully.
